I think books find us at the right time,

which is why I love the idea of letting them move from one reader to the next.

How was The Lost Gallery born?

Hi, I’m Anneta, the heart behind The Lost Gallery. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

If you’ve ever said “I wish I had time to read again” I made this for you.

Books have always been my escape. In the middle of chaos or quiet, they were my go-to. But somewhere along the way; between work and the endless pace of modern life I stopped making time for them. Maybe you did too?

I wanted to create something that made books feel accessible again. Not a library. Not a store. Something more surprising, more personal. I started with something simple: the idea that books should follow people, not the other way around. That’s how The Lost Gallery was born.

I chose second-hand books not just for their charm, but because they remind us that not everything valuable has to be new. They carry the marks of being loved and now they’re ready for another reader to carry them forward.

The Lost Gallery isn’t just a cart. It’s a pause. A breath. A chance for something to find you.

The Stories We Live By

Our mission is simple: We make book accessible, because finding time to buy one shouldn’t be harder than reading it. By re-circulating pre-loved books, we reduce waste and help people reconnect with the simple joy of reading.
